HOW LONG DOES THE COURSE TAKE?

This is a 1 year course.  The online program will require an average of 6-10 hours study per week.  You can access the online weekly sessions anytime during the week.

CAN I USE LETTERS AFTER MY NAME?

Yes.  As this is an officially accredited UK qualification, under GDC regulations you can use the letters PGDip (Imp Dent) after your name.

DO YOU PROVIDE PATIENTS?

No.  You must be actively treating patients in your own practice/hospital to enrol for this qualification.  You must submit 6 Case Reports of dental implantology cases that you have completed.  For a course with provided patients please see our PGCert in Dental Implantology

WHAT ARE THE TUITION FEES

The course fee is £5,450 + VAT.  This can be spread over 10 months (September to June) using our Easy Payment Scheme if you have a UK bank account.  Otherwise, it can be paid as three instalments, at the start of each term.

AM I SUITABLE FOR THIS COURSE?

This program is suitable for actively practising dentists, of any nationality, who are experienced in dental implantology and wish to gain a formally accredited official postgraduate qualification in Applied Implant Dentistry.  You should have competed a minimum of 20 implantology cases and have been practising implant dentistry for at least 1 year.

IS THIS A BEGINNERS COURSE?

No.  If you have little or no experience in dental implantology you should consider our PGCert in Dental Implantology, which includes provided patients.

DO I NEED TO ATTEND IN PERSON

No.  The course is delivered entirely online, with the support of tutors.  You can access the weekly online session material at any time during that week.  

DOES THE COURSE MEET ANY SPECIFIC STANDARDS?

Yes.  The PGDip (Applied Implant Dentistry) is officially accredited by the regulated UK awarding body, EduQual, as a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma under the Regulated Qualifications Framework, permitting the use of post-nominals PGDip(Imp Dent) after qualification.
